Obituary
Raymond "Ray" Hart, age 80, of Toccoa, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his home.
Born September 24, 1935, in Pennington Gap, VA, he was the son of the late Columbus and Myrtle (Smith) Hart. Prior to retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator with Martin Marietta Materials in Jefferson.
He is survived by his wife: Margaret (Persful) Hart; daughters: Amy Hart and Leesa K. McMillan; grandchildren: Crystal Sheiness, Brandon Byrd, and Stephanie Byrd; and great-grandchildren: Ana Duckett, Austin Byrd, Bethany Kruer, Brennan Byrd, Selma Jane Sheiness, Kaydence Byrd, and Grace Byrd.
Mr. Hart will be cremated in accordance with his wishes.
