Rene' Walter was Promoted to Glory Tuesday February 7, 2012 following a car accident in Franklin County Georgia.

Rene' in 1985 was the All Around Cowgirl in the State of Louisiana during the state finals.She finished 5th in the Nation in breakaway calf roping.

Rene' was a long time employee of The Salvation Army.She served as an employee at The College for Officers Training, Georgia Divisional Headquarters, Camp Grandview, Florida Divisional Headquarters, Camp Keystone and Southern Territorial Headquarters.Her most recent employment was with Dairy Queen at WilcoHess LLC which is located off exit 166 off I 85 North - there will be a memorial setup for Rene' there.

Rene' is survived by her two sons: Ryan 18 and Riley 16; as well as their father Robert (Rob) Walter - who also was a long time employee of The Salvation Army.As well as her parents Grady and Annette Mayeaux of Sulphur, Louisiana and her brothers: G. Buba Mayeaux & family and Russell Mayeaux & family.

The memorial service planned for Rene' will be held at Liberty Baptist Church - Carnesville Georgia - 6077 Highway 145 Carnesville Georgia 30521 on Saturday February 11, 2012 at 2:00pm - the family will receive friends at 1:00pm
