Mrs. Revonda Farmer Carter, age 60, of Carnesville, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at her home.
Born March 25, 1954, in Lavonia, she was the daughter of the late: Cecil and Nancy Ann (Jordan) Farmer. She was a member of the family scrapbooking circle. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years: Roy Carter; daughter: Robin Coleman; sons: Timothy Carter and Billy Carter; sisters: Betty Jean Smith and Maxine Cobb; brother: Bobby Farmer; grandchildren: Brittany Kimsey, Jennifer Kimsey, Ashley Alewine, Melissa Bogue, and Mackenzie Bogue; and great-grandchildren: Penelope Scott and Daniel Alewine.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Farmer and Bishop Timothy Carter, Ph. D officiating. Burial will follow in Bowers Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
