Obituary
Ms. Revonda Nell (Slater) Harbert, age 60, of Martin, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the McCall Hospice House of Open Arms Hospice in Simpsonville, SC.
Born March 18, 1955, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late: J. C. and Vera Mae (Andrews) Slater. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and a member and former president of the Lavonia Pilot Club. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her son: Shannon Decker; former husband and caregiver: Thomas Decker; brothers: Herman Slater and Frank Slater; sisters: Lou Edna Ginn, Claudia Hamby, Damie Keese; former husband: Douglas Harbert; and stepchildren: Tammy Harbert, Jeff Harbert, and Michael Harbert.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Ms. Harbert was cremated in accordance with her wishes.
