Brady Rex Jones, age 52, of New Franklin Church Road, Canon, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at his home while surrounded by his loved ones.
Born October 18, 1967, in Winder, he was the son of the late Glen Hoke Jones and Eddie Faye Reed. He was a brick mason for more than 30 years and worked as a forklift driver for Carry-On Trailers for more than 10 years. He was an avid outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed camping. He loved animals and raised chickens for many years. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife: Kellie (Loggins) Jones; children: Adrienne Jones, Cody Loggins, and Augustus Jones; siblings: Ronald Jones, Doreen Phillips, and David Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Eulogies will be given by Doreen Phillips and Lisa Standridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Those in attendance are reminded to adhere to social distancing and public health guidelines.
