Ms. Rhonda Dale Purcell Ramsey, 52, of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Brown Health and Rehabilitation in Royston.

Born on July 22, 1967 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Brenda Brown Myers and the late Herman W. Purcell.Ms. Ramsey was a graduate of Anderson College and member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bowman.

Survivors include her two sons: Kyle Ramsey and Trent Ramsey (Lexie), both of Hartwell; two daughters: Hannah Ramsey (Brent King) and Abbie Ramsey, both of Hartwell; an aunt and uncle: Jimmy and Ceita Brown of Hartwell; one great aunt: Helen Alewine of Royston; and five grandchildren: Alyssa Ramsey, Kaden Ramsey, Everley Ramsey, Willow Ramsey, and Wrenley Carlyle. Ms. Ramsey was preceded in death by her father; and her brother: Brent Purcell.

Because of the current conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be having a formal visitation.They ask that everyone keep them in their thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.

Rhonda wished to be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date by the family at the Northview Cemetery.
