Richard Lee "Bo" Cole, age 80, of Lavonia, formerly of Lilburn, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Mr. Cole attended Chamblee High School, served in the US Navy and retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville.
He was preceded in death by parents Paul and Irene Cole and sister Shirlene Fox.
Bo is survived by his wife Genevieve "Genny" (Burton) Cole of Lavonia, sons and daughters-in-law Allen and Joy Cole of Social Circle and Barry and Amanda Cole of Braselton, grandchildren Tyler and Rebecca Cole of Dacula, Mandi and Michael DeLaughter of Woodstock, Briton and McKenzie Cole of Clarksville, TN, Ryan and Morgan Hurkmans of Zebulon and Haley Hurkmans of Duluth, great grandchildren Bella, Brently, Camp, Ronin, Hudson, Lawson and Jianni.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the Depot, Lavonia, GA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Power of Hope.
