Mr. Richard Charles Kotal, 58, of 840 Kotal Road, Hartwell, died Wednesday, November 21 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born on April 18, 1954 in Anderson SC, he was the son of Geneva Harrison Kotal and the late Charles Rudolph Kotal.He worked in the Cattle Industry and was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother, Geneva H. Kotal of Canon; a sister, Teresa Kotal of Canon and two brothers, Larry Kotal and his wife Rhonda and Dennis Kotal and his wife Denise all of Canon.

A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Burial in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday night.The family is at the home of Larry and Rhonda Kotal, 333 Kotal Road, Canon GA
