Obituary
Mr. Richard C. Lawrence, 93, of Paynes Creek Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home.
Born on April 10, 1926 in Dallastown, PA, he was the son of the late Hellen Tarbert. Mr. Lawrence was a retired salesman for Montgomery Ward Department Store and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #945, and he was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Navy.
Survivors include his son: Ron Lawrence (Pat) of Hartwell; a daughter: Sandra Clark of Florida; son-in-law: Jack Codori of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren. Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his mother; his wife: Sondra Riddick Lawrence; and a daughter: Christinia Codori.
A memorial service celebrating Richard's life will be Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
