Richard Neal "Rick" Martin, 63, of Paulding County, GA passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home. Born October 27, 1958 in Atlanta, GA, he was a son of Robert Edward and Bobbie Faye (O'Barr) Martin, natives of Hart County, GA.

He was a graduate of McEachern High School in Cobb County, GA and earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Technical Institute (now part of Kennesaw State University) in Marietta, GA. He was employed by Eastern Airlines in Atlanta for several years and later retired from Delta Airlines in 2008 as a Ground Support Equipment Engineer.

Survivors, including his parents, are his loving wife of 31 years, Leslie Ann (Guirreri) Martin; daughter: Katelyn Marie Martin-Ehmann and her husband, Michael Ehmann; son: Brett Anthony Martin; brothers: Scott Edward Martin and Jeffrey Paul Martin & wife, Sherry.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel, 3940 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA.
Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Rick's name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Interment will follow the service in Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA.
