Mr. Richard McRae, 56, of 2476 Tex Smith Road, Elberton, GA, died Monday, April 7, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born October 17, 1951 in Manchester, GA, he is the son of Elizabeth Mayfield McRae of Manchester, GA and the late Lamar McRae.He was a member of Christian Worship Assembly and a Deacon.
He is survived by:Mother; Wife, Christine Vernon McRae of the home; Son, Alden L. McRae of Marietta, GA; Daughter, Helena Cobb of Royston, GA; Brother, Tommy L. McRae of Manchester, GA; Sister, Dorothy Ray Manchester, GA and Mary Ann Gordy of Woodberry, GA.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Worship Assembly.Rev. Fred Vehe will officiate.Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.Donations can be made to Christian Worship Assembly, 3874 Royston Hwy., Hartwell, GA30643.
