Mr. Richard Rannie White, 74, of 2468 Clay Brown Road, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, September 09, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Born August 10, 1934 in Franklin County, GA, he was the son of the late Oscar Jenkins White and Lillie Byrum White.He was a retired Truck Driver.
He is survived by:Brother, Jimmy R. White and his wife Gloria of Lavonia, GA; Sisters, Mildred Chatham of Anderson, SC and Faye Heaton and her husband Gene of Mableton, GA.He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jerome White and John White.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Johnny Stowe will officiate.Burial will be in the Northview Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night.The family is at the home of Jimmy and Gloria White, 1022 Walters Road, Lavonia.
