Mr. Floyd Maurice "Rick" Hunnicutt, age 65, of Gainesville, GA Died Friday December 5, 2008 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA following an extended illness.

Born July 31, 1943 in Banks County, GA, to the late Floyd Hunnicutt and the late Daisy Smith Hunnicutt Littleton, Mr. Hunnicutt was retired from Lucent Technologies and he was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He attended The Bridge Church in Cornelia, GA.

Survivors include his wife: Elois Hunnicutt: one son: Cale Hunnicutt of Florida: stepson: Timmy Cook: stepdaughter and son in law: Sherry and Mike Rogers of Cleveland: two sisters: Dee Thompson and Carolyn Martin both of Gainesville: brother: Fred Hunnicutt of Fruitland, Idaho: four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Hunnicutt was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Imogene Landers, and brother: Vonnie Hunnicutt.

A memorial service will be held Monday December 8, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of The Bridge Church in Cornelia, with Mr. Dusty Rogers and the Rev. Mickey Umbehant officiating
