Mr. Rickey Marshall Pless, 65, of Dewy Rose GA, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, Athens.

Born on November 4, 1959 in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late Coy Pless Sr. and Mornay Anderson Pless.  Mr. Pless was of the Church of God faith and attended Restoration House Church in Anderson SC.

Survivors include a son: Jason Pless (Jessie) of Dewy Rose; a sister: Mona Johnson of Anderson and three grandchildren: Landon Pless, Lucas Pless and Logan Pless also survive.

Mr. Pless was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Jeremy Pless and two brothers: Dr. Coy Pless Jr. and Curtis Pless.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rickey Pless will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Restoration House Church with Pastor David Hudgens officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Restoration House Church, 5001 Abbeville Hwy, Anderson SC 29624.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
