Mr. Ricky Douglas Burden, 62, of Canon, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at his home.

Born on September 24, 1961 in Royston GA, he was the son of the late Hoke S. Burden and Jean E. Smith Burden.  Ricky was a self-employed carpenter and loved spending time with his grandsons.

Survivors include his daughter: Brittany L. Burden (Darin Worley) of Canon; his companion: Kimberly Warf; two sisters: Debbie Crider (Wayne) of Royston, Sandy Fowler (Johnny) of Canon and three grandsons: Brantson Burden, Copeland Vaughn and Braylen Vaughn. Mr. Burden was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Carolyn Floyd.

Memorial services for Mr. Ricky Burden are incomplete and will be announced later.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
