Richard Edward "Ricky" Harris, 50, of Lavonia, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home.
Born June 14, 1962 in Royston, GA, he was the son of Anne (Odell) Harris & the late Rufus Edward Harris. He was a truck driver having worked for Waste Management Inc.
He is survived by his mother; wife: Dinah Lynn (Fleming) Harris of the home; daughter: Michelle Hope Harris; son: Christopher Edward Harris; stepdaughter: Amy R. Fritz; stepsons: James D. Ledford & Gary D. Mullins; grandchildren: Ashley N. Swiney, Amanda A. Swiney, Makaylie F. Harris, Audree R. Harris, Branston E. Harris, Drake L. Mullins, Leland G. Mullins & Wyatt E. Mullins, James T. Ledford; siblings: Tim Harris, Freida Roberts, Lisa Eavenson & Kathy Carroll.
Funeral services will be held as a visitation Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home.
