Frank Ricky Lanier, age 62, of Martin, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2022 at his home.

Born May 5, 1959, in San Diego, CA, he was a son of the late Max Franklin Lanier and Ladell Kimsey Lanier. In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by a son: Max Lanier; grandson: Austin Lanier.

He is survived by the mother of his children: Deb Lanier; son & daughter-in-law: Chris & Melody Lanier; grandchildren: Jennifer Owen, Brenton Lanier, Mary Jordan, Travis Jordan, Joshua Lanier, and Nyk Lanier; great-grandsons: Max Owen and Thomas Owen; brothers: Alan Lanier and Greg Lanier; and sister: Kathy Lanier.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
