Mr. Ricky Hampton Milford, 55, of Nancy Hart School Road, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospice House in Athens GA.

Born on September 16, 1959 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of Ethel Richardson Milford and the late Wade Hampton Milford.Mr. Milford was formerly employed by Hartwell Sports and Cobb Vantress of Hartwell. He was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother: Ethel R. Milford of Hartwell; his wife: Debbie Carruth Milford; two daughters: Shannon Vassar & Bryan and Jennifer Bryson & Josh all of Hartwell; three brothers: Johnny Milford of Austin TX, Jimmy Milford and Steve Milford both of Hartwell; two sisters: Judy Lee and Deborah Martin both of Hartwell; four grandchildren: Tyler Vassar, Michael Yeargin, Hannah Vassar and Ansleigh Bryson also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Walters officiating.The family is at the home.Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 1230 Baxter Street, Athens GA 30606
