Mrs. Robbie Jo Sanders Herring, 92, of Murray Avenue, Hartwell, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

Born on November 14, 1931 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe B. Sanders and Ruth Herring Sanders. Mrs. Herring was a trainer for BASF, and a member of the Milltown Baptist Church. Robbie loved her flowers and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons: Terry Herring (Pat) of Albemarle, NC, and Bobby Herring (Carol) of Greer, SC; daughter: Wanda Goldsmith of Hartwell; one sister: Peggy Adams of Doraville, GA; seven grandchildren: Brian Herring, Kevin Herring, Grant Herring, Neal Herring, Christy Brown, Kelly Carey, Dustin Goldsmith; and twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Herring is preceded in death by her parents; husband: J.L. Herring; brothers: Charles & Franklin Sanders; and one sister: Callie Sue Sanders.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Milltown Baptist Church. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robbie Herring will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Milltown Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family would like to thank and express their appreciation to the Staff of Hart Care Center for the care and support shown to Mrs. Herring and her family over the last two years.
