Mrs. Robbie Jo (Lewis) Prier, age 71, of Bowersville, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her home.
Born November 25, 1942, in Batesville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Inez (Trent) Lewis. She was a graduate of Cave City High School. Mrs. Prier was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Zelda Woods; and brothers: Joel Lewis, Jr., and Chester Lewis.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Charles Prier; sons and daughters-in-law: Ron and Angela Prier and Chuck and Lynn Prier; grandchildren: Paige Prier, David Prier, Nikki Prier, Melissa Prier, and Jessica Prier; great-grandchild: Oliver Prier; sisters: Wanda Lassiter and Annalee Euton; and brothers: Noel Lewis and Jerry Lewis.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Lavonia with Rev. John Forbes and Rev. Bob Nash officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The church deacons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. At other hours the family will be at the home.
