Mr. Robert W. Alexander, 54, of 119 Arbor Shoals Drive, Canton, GA, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at North Fulton Regional Medical Center, Roswell, GA.
Born December 16, 1953 in Pasadena, Texas, he was the son of the late Robert W. Alexander, Sr and Barbara Perkins Alexander.He was the Chief Financial Officer for Sanders and Associates.He was retired from the U.S. Navy and a Vietnam War Veteran.
He is survived by:Wife, Barbara Sanders Alexander of the home; Sister, Debbie Rohloff, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Father in law, Charles Sanders of Anderson, SC.He is preceded in death by his Parents; Grandmother who raised him, Helen Strater; and a Brother, Harvey Alexander.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Bob Bradberry will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Military Honors.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.Memorials may be made to United Methodist Children's Home, 500 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA30030.
