Mr. Robert H. Brooks, 87, died Monday, September 1, 2014 in Wyandotte, MI.
Born on September 14, 1926 in Lexington GA, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Brooks and Carrie Carter Brooks.He was retired mill worker from the steel industry.
Survivors include one brother: William H. Brooks of Aragon, GA; four sisters: Dorothy Crippen of Seneca, SC, Virginia Childs of Hartwell, Sara Nell Smith of Warner Robins, and Annette Riplinger of Seneca, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded death by his wife: Ioma Smith Brooks and two brothers: Lloyd Franklin Brooks and John Thomas Brooks.
Graveside service will be Friday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.
