Mr. Robert Lee "Robby" Elgin, 46, of Woodland Drive, Canon, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home.

Born on June 1, 1970 in Anderson SC, he was the son of the late James Callie Elgin and Carolyn Mae Grant Elgin. Robby was formerly employed at Pilgrim's Pride of Elberton and Purdue of Gainesville as an Electrician.He loved Fishing, Camping and Woodworking and was a member of Frontline Outreach Church of Hartwell.

Survivors include his wife: Lisa Carter Elgin; two daughters: Niki Boles & Ryan and Ashley Elgin all of Canon; two grandchildren: Victoria Boles and Macie Boles; three brothers: Danny Elgin, Steve Elgin and Lamar Elgin all of Canon and two sisters: Elaine Freeman of Lavonia and Tammy Elgin of Canon.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home.
