Mr. Robert Martin "Bob" Fean, 75, of 981 Bio Church Road, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at his home.
Born January 10, 1934 in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Alfred Fean and Sarah Hilbman Fean.He was retired from RCA/GE.He was founder and member of Bob Martin Quartet where he played the vibes.He was a U.S. Army Veteran; former member of National Guard; and enjoyed horses and furniture making.
He is survived by:Wife, Leah Kita Fean of the home; Daughters, Jacklyn Schacht of Collingswood, NJ, Jerilyn Dean of Riverside NJ, Donna (Erik) Rasmussen of McHenry, IL, Leah(John) Cossarek of Lakemoor, IL and Jane (Bill) Brickner of Cherry Hill, NJ; Seven grandchildren andBest Friend , his English Setter "Echo".
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.Rev. Lee Payton will officiate.The family will receive friends at the church after the service.The family is at their home.The family requests no flowers; memorials may be made to Hart County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1062, Hartwell, GA30643.
