Mr. Robert Edward Fleeman, 80, of Canon, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at his home.

Born on April 7, 1944 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Jesse Owen Fleeman and Jesse Mae Drake Fleeman. Mr. Fleeman was a retired farmer and was of the Church of God faith. He also loved to fish and hunt.

Survivors include his wife: Glenda Lee Stowe Fleeman of Canon; son: Ronald Fleeman (Shirley) of Royston; five daughters: Cheryl Bradshaw (Scott) of Canon, Susan Fleeman of Canon, Lynn Holland (Todd) of Canon, Catherine Cawthon (Jamie) of Royston, and Cassie Heddleson (David) of Canon; two sisters: Flora Stowe of Lavonia and Connie Brown of Carnesville; and eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. Fleeman is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Troy & Riley Fleeman; and one sister: Hilda Bryant.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Bowman Church of God. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Fleeman will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bowman Church of God with Pastors Stacey Lynch, Gary Ledford, and Fred Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
