Mr. Robert Haskell Fritts, age 90, of Lavonia, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center.
Born February 21, 1924, in Pasadena CA, he was the son of the late Haskell and Irene Bloodworth Fritts. He was raised in and went to High School and College in Minneapolis MN and was a retired entrepreneur. Mr. Fritts was a member of the Anderson Country Club, Toccoa Elks Club and was a veteran of WW II, where he served in the U S Navy.
He is survived by his children: Robin Fritts & Karen of Columbus, OH, Melanie Fink & Troy of Anderson, SC, Cynthia Hanahan of Dallas, GA, Michael Bateman of Seffner, FL, and David Bateman & Pat of Cape Coral, FL; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Gail Ann Weston Fritts.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Fritts was cremated. A private memorial service will be held.
