Mr. Robert Locke, Jr., 63, of Old Loggin Road, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born on February 23, 1952 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Robert Locke, Sr and Annie Sue Chapman Locke. Mr. Locke was self-employed as a painter with R. A. Painting Co. and also was a member of The Way Church.

Survivors include two sons: Johnny Locke and Sheena of Royston, Joshua Locke and Hope of Royston; one daughter: Jaime Locke and her fiancée Shannon Tench of Royston; four step-sons: Robert Amos and Chris of Hartwell, Kenny Amos and Marsha of Hartwell, Danny Amos and his fiancé Teresa Scaggs of Hartwell, DD Amos of Hartwell; one step-daughter: Ann Anthony of Martin; twenty six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Locke was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Ina Sanford Locke; one brother: Grover Locke; two half-sisters: Mary Carey, Patsy Dove and three grandchildren: Trinity Amos, Chance Amos and Chase Amos.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 29, 2015, 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with the Rev. Jim Carey and Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating.Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.The family is at their respective homes.
