Robert W. Partain

Mr. Robert W. Partain, 90, of Nuberg Community, Dewy Rose, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on December 21, 1935, in Elberton GA, he was the son of the late Robert Asbury Partain and Mary Frances Burdette Partain. Mr. Partain was retired from Monroe / Tenneco Automotive and a member of the Bethesda Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Selena Jones and Nora Scoggins, both of Bowman; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Partain was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Sara Ann Teasley Partain; a brother: Horace Partain and a sister: Beth Moore.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.at the Strickland Funeral Home. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Partain will be Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Methodist Church Cemetery.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is assisting the family with all of the arrangements.
