Mr. Robert B. "Bob" Pease Jr., 86 of Hartwell, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Athens Heritage Home, Athens GA.

Born on July 28 1927 in Richmond VA, he was retired from Reynolds Metals and the City of Hartwell, where he held several positions during his years of service.Mr. Pease was an active member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, where he served on numerous committees and was a WW II US Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Doris Crouch Pease of Hartwell; a daughter, Margaret Jacoby of Whidbey WA; three sons, Robert "Bob" Pease III and his wife Lynn of Athens, Stuart Pease and his wife Donna of Birmingham AL and John Pease of Jacksonville FL; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating.A reception will follow the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 200 E.
