Mr. Robert Howell "Bob" Robertson, 72, of 231 Walters Road, Lavonia, GA, Rock Springs Community, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Hospice House, Anderson, SC
Born February 6, 1934 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Howell Robertson and Lizzie Mae Gray Robertson Byrum.He was retired from the Supply Room at Springs Industries.He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
His survivors include: Step-Father, Bennie Byrum of Lavonia, GA; Brother, John Walker Robertson of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Lucy Brown of Lavonia, GA and Nina Haley of Lavonia, GA.He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, William Charles "Bill" Robertson.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Jack Sosby and Rev. C. Roy Smith will officiate.Burial will be in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith McKenzie officiating.
