Mr. Robert Daniel Sullivan, age 78, of Lavonia, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Gwinnett Medical Center.
Born December 16, 1934, in Tacoma, WA, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Padur) Sullivan. He was a retired veteran of the US Marine Corp having served 20 years after serving in the Marine Corp he worked for the US Postal Service for 20 years. Mr. Sullivan was member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
He is survived by three sons: Richard Sullivan & Scott Sullivan both of Lavonia and Pat Sullivan of Plant City, FL; one daughter: Stephanie Krupa of Valrico, FL; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with full military honors. Visitation will follow the service at the church. Special memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105, c/o Memorial/Honor Program. The families are at their respective homes.
