Mr. Robert Marvin Wilson Sr., 79, of 320 Bailey's Garage Road, Bowersville, died Saturday, December 29 at his home.
Born on January 25, 1933 in Ft. Myers FL, he was the son of the late George Washington Wilson and Mary Bell Gurley Wilson.He was former co-owner of B & J Sub Station and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Wilson of Hartwell; two daughters, Patricia W. Shelton of Newnan GA and Renee' W. Dean of Hartwell; six grandchildren, Marlo Fetner, Monique Adamson, Mila Easterwood, Monee' LoPorto, Louis Rodrigez and Chandler Dean also survive.Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Catherine Wilson and a sister, Ollie McIntire.
Robert's wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Renee' and Morris Dean, 7988 Reed Creek Hwy, Hartwell.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens GA 30605.
