Mr. Rodger Curtis Baker, 66, of Reed Creek Hwy, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at his home.

Born on August 17, 1958 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of Dorothy Dunn Baker and the late James J. Baker.  Rodger was a long haul trucker, of the Baptist Faith, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his mother: Dorothy Baker; a daughter: Angie Baker of Nashville, TN, and his sister: Patricia Cantrell, and her husband Greg of Alpharetta, GA.

Rodger wished to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
