Mr. Rodney Jackson, 76, of Hartwell, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at his home.

Born on December 30, 1946 in Guntersville, AL he was the son of the late Limus Jackson and Wanda Pack Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a retired co-owner of Pirkle Electric Company in Atlanta GA. He was a member of IBEW, NEBF and CRA.  He was an avid Alabama Football fan, loved the Lake, Harley Davidson motorcycles, Boy Toys and Bass fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Linda Weems Jackson; one son: Stephen Scott Jackson (Joanie) of St. Ignatius MT; one daughter: Tammy Grace Drew (Kerry) of Hartwell; two sisters: Trisha Durden (Jim) of Guntersville AL, Rebecca Graves of Sardis City AL; one niece: Hollie Powell (Jeff) of Albertville AL; one nephew: Trent Graves of Birmingham AL; one great niece: Rylie Powell of Sardis City AL; one great nephew: Jeb Powell of Sardis City AL and one cousin: Tommy Jackson (Eloise) of Scottsboro AL.

A memorial service celebrating Mr. Rodney Jackson's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hart County Humane Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell, GA 30643.
