Mr. Rodney Earl Roland, 68, of GA Hwy 172, Bowman, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Born on August 31, 1951 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Robert William Roland and Martha Kersey Roland.Mr. Roland was a self-employed antique collector and dealer and served in the US Navy.
Survivors include his sister: Vicki R. Gurley of Hartwell; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Roland is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother: Glen Roland.
A memorial service celebrating Rodney's life will be held at a later date by the family and friends.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
