Mr. Roger Dale Woodall, 73, of Winnsmill Road, Royston, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Born on June 1, 1950 in Elberton, GA, he was the son of the late Albert "Bud" Woodall and Virginia Brown Woodall. Mr. Woodall was a mechanic employed by the National Guard, and was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. He was also of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son: Michael Woodall (Sheena) of Toccoa; brother: Tommy Woodall of Rocky Top, TN; sister: Carolyn Daniels (Jerry) of Hartwell; and six grandchildren: Matthew Woodall, Savanna Woodall, Sierra Woodall, Angel Taylor, Danyelle Taylor, and Jorja Taylor. Mr. Woodall is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Donna Farmer Woodall; two brothers: David Woodall and Matthew Woodall; and one sister: Brenda Norris.

It was Roger's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date by the family. The family will be at their respective homes.
