Mrs. Rolvie Chitwood McCollum, 88, of 2239 Adamstown Road, Bowersville, GA, formerly of W. Franklin Place, Hartwell, died Friday, January 18, 2008 at Hart Care Center.

Born Mary 26, 1919 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the Arvin L. Chitwood and Lula Watkins Chitwood.She was retired from Johnson and Johnson and she was a member of Mt. Olivet Church of God and of the Ladies Auxiliary – Lavonia VFW.

She is survived by:Sons, Ronald McCollum of Westminster, SC and Wayne McCollum and his wifeCarolyn of Bowersville, GA; Brothers, Lonnie Chitwood and Shelton Chitwood both of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Geraldine Austin and Eugenia LeCoq both of Hartwell, GA; Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Raymond H. "Bert" McCollum; Brothers, Frank and Vergil Chitwood; Sister, Willie Brown; and two great grandchildren, Colt & Cody.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Church of God. Rev. J.B. Kitts will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
