Obituary
Mr. Ronald W. "Ron" Hornick, 77, of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Stephens County Hospital in Toccoa.
Born on January 11, 1943 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Joe B. Hornick and Flossie Stamps Hornick. Mr. Hornick was a retired commercial cookware salesman.
Survivors include his wife: Helen LaRose Akins Hornick of Lavonia; son: Ron Hornick of Hartwell; daughter: Lisa Davis (Jamey) of Hartwell; one brother: Herb Hornick (Betty) of Hartwell; and one grandchild: Shelley Gholson (Zane) of Texas. Mr. Hornick is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother: Jimmy Hornick.
Ron wished to be cremated and a private memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date by the family.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
