Mr. Ronald Bruce "Pete" Williams, age 70, passed away on August 2, 2026, in Denver, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 2:00pm, in the Chapel of Braselton Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Edmonson officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until 4:00pm, at the funeral home on the day of the service.
Pete was born to Richard Marion Williams and Jean Louise Nill on June 19th, 1956, in Austell, GA. He graduated from South Cobb High School in 1974. Pete attended college at Athens Technical College.
Pete worked 49 years as a lift truck salesman. He spent the past 22 years working with Thompson Lift Trucks.
On April 10, 1982, Pete married the love of his life Dianne McLane Williams, and they were happily married for 44 years.
Pete dedicated his life to his work, his wife Dianne, and all the children she cared for during their time together.
Pete’s circle of friends that he stayed in touch with throughout his life is endless. All that knew him loved his caring nature, tender smile, and his love for the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves!
Pete was preceded in death by his father, Richard M. Williams, his mother Jean L. Nill Williams, sister, Susan Wright, brother, Danny Williams, father-in-law Joe McLane, and mother-in-law Helen McLane.
Pete is survived by his wife, Dianne; his brother Carl Williams (Dale), niece Amanda Murdock (Chris), niece Whitney Hudek (Tim), and many extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider donating to Tunnel to Towers Foundation www.t2t.org which helps support the families of American Heroes, Fallen First Responders, and Wounded Veterans, in Pete’s honor.
