Mr. Ronny Ankerich, 66, of 2891 Royston Hwy, Hartwell, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born on January 29, 1947 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Pascal P. Ankerich and Jessie Mae Brown Ankerich.He was retired from BASF in Anderson, SC and was a member of Mt. Olivet Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Cornelia Ankerich of the home; two sons: William Chris Ankerich and his wife Sandy of Carnesville, Chad Ankerich and his wife June of Hartwell; three brothers: Joel Ankerich and his wife Sue of Hartwell, Ray Ankerich and his wife Nancy of Hartwell, and Doug Ankerich and his wife Shirley of Bowersville; four grandchildren: Kimberly Ankerich, La'el Ankerich, Joshua Ankerich, and Garrett Ankerich.Mr. Ankerich was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Bobby Ankerich and Billy Ankerich.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Church of God with Rev. J.B. Kitts, Rev. Leon Suttles, and Rev. Wesley Allen officiating.Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Church of God cemetery.
The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Flowers are optional or special memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Church of God, Beacon Light Road, Hartwell, GA30643.The family is at the home.
