Obituary
Mr. Ronny Eugene Harris, 51, of 261 Wayne Circle, Hartwell, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on August 15, 1960 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late J.D. Harris and Peggy Lee Harris Powell.He was a professional horse trainer and was a truck driver for Morgan Concrete and Turner Concrete.
Survivors include one daughter: Ronda Deanne Harris of Hartwell; two brothers: Stevie Harris of Hartwell, and Roger Rowland of Williamston; and five sisters: Diane Harris of Hartwell, Kathy Harbin of Lavonia, Vickie Carlisle of Hartwell, Sandy Dobson of Williamston, and Lynn Christian; and he is also survived by Henry and Lucy Lee who raised him.Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to defray funeral expenses.
