Rose Marie Alexander Burdette, age 78, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023.

Born February 16, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Frank George Alexander and Virginia Martha Overbeck Alexander, Rose was a homemaker and owner of Rose's Specialty Goods. A former Girl Scout Leader and animal lover, especially cats, she was always giving to others.

Survivors include her daughters, Cherie Cummings (Darin), Wendy DeLoach (Randy), and Robin Grant (Tyrant); grandchildren, Heather Cunrod, Kenneth Tate Alexander, Mariah Cummings Legg (Nick), Christopher Grinstead (Kayla), Chance Grinstead, Amber Lindsey (Michael), Brandi DeLoach, Nikki Grant, Dyllynn Grant, and Anastasia Grant; greatgrandchildren, Jaina Cunrod, Emilia Cunrod, Ryleigh Grinstead, C. J. Grinstead, and Michael "Lee" Lindsey.

The graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lavonia at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6th, 2024. She will be buried next to her beloved husband of 45 years, the late Loomis Terrell Burdette. In lieu of flowers please contact the family concerning donations.
