Mr. Willie Roy Blume, age 68, of Canon, died Saturday, August 6, 2011 at his residence.
Born July 20, 1943, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Willie D. and Ada (Epps) Blume. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife:Brenda (Brown) Blume; daughters: Tammy Blume & Teresa Dutton; son: Ray Blume; brother: Roger Blume; grandchildren: Tiffany Williams, Jessica Blume, Jennifer Blume, Paige Blume, Mary & Hannah Dutton. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Joe Blume; sister: Vicky King; and brother: John Blume.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 until the funeral hour. At other hours the family will be at the home of Teresa Dutton, 30 Baskins Road Ext., Canon, GA 30520. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to defray funeral expenses.
