Obituary
Mr. Roy Robert Van Hooft, age 64, of Martin, died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home.
Born August 18, 1950, in Canandaiqua, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Sweet and Dorothy Lois (Cole) Van Hooft. He was a hydraulic mechanic for Altec Industries.
He is survived by his wife: Janice (Brumblow) Van Hooft of the home; daughter and son-in-law: April & Anthony Rowland of Martin; grandchildren: Christian M. Rowland & Kalee J. Rowland also of Martin; brother: George Van Hooft of West Palm Beach, FL; and niece: Elaine Van Hooft of Rochester, NY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Lois Van Hooft.
Mr. Van Hooft's request was to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Florida.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made, in memory of Roy Van Hooft, to your Local Chapter of The Future Farmer of America or The American Cancer Society.
