Mr. Ruby Holland Banister, 85, of 1539 Crawford's Ferry Rd., Hartwell, GA, wife of A.C. Banister, died Monday, September 18, 2006 at Hart Co. Hospital.

Born April 26, 1921 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lawson Holland and Grace Mclesky Holland.She was a homemaker and a life long member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church, Friendship Sunday School Class and the Golden Agers.

Her survivors include: Husband: A.C. Banister of the home; Son: Edward Banister and wife Emily of Hartwell; Daughters: Frances Temples and husband James of Lilburn, GA, Linda Clyde and husband Barry of Duluth, GA, Doris Slaughter and husband Terry, and Sara Feltman and husband Brown all of Hartwell; Brothers: Howell Holland and Ray Holland both of Hartwell; Sisters: Loy Baker and Hazel Holland both of Hartwell, seven grandchildren andthirteen great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter: Jennifer Wolfe.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Reed Creek Baptist Church, Rev. Sam Dulaney will officiate.Burial will follow at the Memorial Garden of Prayer. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 prior to the service.
