Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Nell Campbell Mauldin, 96, of 628 Providence Church Rd, Lavonia, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her home.
Born on August 23, 1915 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Momen Campbell and Rudy Holbrook Campbell.She was an active member of Providence United Methodist Church where she served on various committees and previously worked for the Hart County Library.Mrs. Mauldin was retired from Bellcraft Manufacturing as a machine operator.
Survivors include her two sons: Dr. Bobby Mauldin of Hartwell, and Fred Mauldin of Lavonia; one daughter, Elaine King of N. Augusta, SC; Six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Julian C. Mauldin; two brothers: Edwin Campbell and JT Campbell; and one sister: Margaret Campbell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Doug Brown and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00N Tuesday.Flowers are optional and special memorials can be made out to Providence United Methodist Church, 2395 Providence Church Rd, Lavonia, GA30553.The family is at their respective homes.
