Mrs. Ruby Nell Harper Risner, 77, of 54 Baker Street, Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Hart Care Center.
Born April 14, 1931 in Oconee Co., SC, she was the daughter of the late Noah Lee Harper and Pearl Sammons Harper.She was a homemaker.
She is survived by:Husband, R. Arnold Risner of the home; Son, Allen Risner of Hartwell, GA; Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Tommy Risner; Brothers, Thomas Harper and Billy Ray Harper; and two sisters, Junie Fay Hicks and Grace King.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. J.B. Kitts, Rev. Johnny Stowe and Mr. Fred Greenway will officiate.Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends tonight from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
