Mrs. Ruby Crawford Brown Sayer, age 95, of 155 Gloria Dr., Hartwell, Ga., died Monday, December 25 at Hartwell Health Care Center.

Born May 21, 1911 in Elbert County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late H. Omer Crawford and Mamie Sanders Crawford.She was a former employee of Hartwell Mfg Company and retired from Dunlop as an Inspector. She was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church.

Her survivors include: Sons, Gerald A. Brown of Hartwell, GA and T. Linder Brown of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Helen Hembree of Hartwell, GA and Frances Barton of Brevard, NC; Seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survives.She was preceded in death by 1st husband, Luther Q. Brown and 2nd husband, Felton Sayer; Son, Joel O. Brown; Two brothers, H.O. Crawford, Jr and Alton Crawford; Sisters, Alma Neal and Martha Partain.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Joe Black will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m. The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church, P.O.
