Obituary
Mr. Russell Warren Tupper, age 66 of 620 Point Road, Westminster, S.C., died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the VA Medical Center, Charleston, S.C.
Born July 23, 1942 in Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Warren Tupper and Judith Sampson Tupper. He was self employed in the hydraulics industry in sales and service. Mr. Tupper was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by: wife, Betty Toombs Tupper of the home, son, Alan Tupper, Westminster, S.C., Nikki Burdette, Westminster, S.C. Four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kim Tupper and grandson, Nathan Atkinson.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Strickland Funeral Home-Hartwell Chapel. Rev. Johnny Stowe will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family will be at the home.
