Mr. Russell Carlton Windsor, 42, of Bode Weaver Road, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens.

Born on September 20, 1976 in Jacksonville FL, he was the son of Carlton L. Windsor and Jean Weaver Windsor.Russell received his Associate Degree from Reinhardt University and his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering.He was a former manager for TA Travel Center, Baldwin FL and was an avid golfer and fisherman.He also attended the Impact Church of Hartwell.

Mr. Windsor is survived by his parents: Carlton & Jean Windsor of Lavonia; his children: Bode Windsor and Elissa Windsor; a brother: Tyler Windsor & Priscilla of Charlotte NC and his children Lawson, Harris and Emmaline Windsor; his fiancée: Wendi Strickland and her children, Patrick & Preston.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jennifer Horton, Rev. Nick Rucker and Mr. Tyler Windsor officiating.Burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. The family is at their respective homes.
